Hello y’all! My name is Jolene and I’m a DoorDash delivery driver in the Tri-Cities (TN/VA). I am the Editor-in-Chief of The Gig Organizer, and thus the Administrator of this forum and website. I am also the Regional Secretary of the Tri-Cities Gig Worker Committee and its App-Based Driver Representative in Johnson City. As a representative, I’m mainly concerned with distributing the newsletter to other drivers in Johnson City, getting them involved in the Forum and Gig Worker Committee, and expanding app-based driver representation to other parts of the Tri-Cities like Bristol, Elizabethton, Jonesborough, Bluff City, Piney Flats, Blountville, Unicoi, Greenville, and Erwin.
